“Often victims carry a backpack of guilt, shame, anger and confusion. Going through the legal process allows them to hand that backpack back to the perpetrators and in turn, often live a more fulfilled life.”
Founder and Director
Our founder, Russell Manser, was a victim of institutional sexual abuse when in jail. He’s made it his life’s work to support survivors through the process of healing and reparation.
I can vouch after many therapy sessions with Russell and Professor Coyle me and my two brothers have become survivors of the horrible crimes that were committed against us as children by monsters they were left to look after us in brutal institutions, today me and my two brothers live our lives with our heads held high and today we talk laugh and ring each other regularly. Which we haven’t done in over 30 years, once again thank you Russell and Professor Coyle.
You’re doing an amazing job mate helping people get on with their lives and moving forward after putting all that nasty stuff behind them. I want to congratulate you and your team (staff) because without you guys there would be a great number of others still lugging around all the weight they’ve carried for so long. Well done @russelljamesmanser love and respect.
Hey Russell mate thanks for everything you did for me mate. I honestly am glad I had you in my corner and the professor is a legend – he is one of the few people I felt I could talk to. Great to see J.K. has joined the line up, I’m sure voice of the survivor will accomplish great things in the future.
